Something Happened (1987, 24 min.) In 1986, Roy Andersson received an inquiry from the Swedish National Board of Health and Welfare on making a film about AIDS. He accepted the assignment after some hesitation. The disease was said to be incurable, deadly and, among other things, sexually transmittable, which was a factor that might further consolidate the hostility towards sexuality that we after centuries looked to be liberating ourselves from.
